Erik Nates Euro Hockey

About us

At Erik Nates Euro Hockey we player of all ages develop their individual skills and improve in all aspects of the game.

Based in Rye, NY, we offer summer camps and clinics throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri, Georgia & Texas.

Through structured drills and innovative equipment like parallel bars, our intense on-ice instruction challenges each student to the best of his or her ability. We draw on traditional European methods to help students improve their game, and we strive to create an exciting and productive atmosphere where they can both learn and have fun. We’re also committed to maximizing the time students spend on the ice at each session.

Erik Nates Euro Hockey was established in 2003 to help players in lower New York and Long Island hone their skills with small, specialized clinics and personalized instruction. We have since expanded with programs in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia & Texas, retaining our focus and commitment through structured camps and clinics.

Thanks to the expert guidance of founder Erik Nates, who played Division 1 hockey at Iona College and has taught for more than 25 years, we bring knowledge, passion, and professionalism to each of our programs. We’ve shared our love of the game with thousands of hockey players—some of whom have gone on to play for the NHL, Minor Pro, NCAA Division 1 and NCAA Division III teams, and we look forward to shaping the skills and careers of young players for many years to come.

"I’ve been working with Erik a few years now and have nothing but positive things to say. He has significantly helped me improve my shot, and has helped me achieve career highs. I couldn’t be happier with the results I’ve had since working with him."

"I started skating with Erik when I was about 6 years old. Always dreaded going to his camps, but so glad I did because I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. He is always so dedicated to his camps and getting each player better when they hit the ice. The environment in his camps are exciting and challenging, which only makes each player get out of their comfort zone. He builds the complete player and puts a strong emphasis on skating, stick handling & shooting. If any player is looking to improve their game, I highly recommend Erik Nates Euro Hockey. #Traintobethebest"
